Term 3
Starts Sunday May 10th.
Part three is focused on the students showing their learning and application in practice of medical astrology as studied in the course.
On the first meeting I will outline the information I will be looking for in both presentations.
After this, students will present a decumbiture and a Temperament chart showing your practice and craft. This can be done privately 1:1 with me or in the form of a written report.
After successful completion of the course there will an opportunity to join a monthly humoral supervision group where we look at Decumbiture and Temperament charts of student’s clients.

So there is only one lesson?
After lesson 1 you will book a 1 hour slot with me and we will go through your work, 2 charts, one temperament, one decumbiture.
What if I fail the assessment?
The online lesson will explain exactly what I am looking for. I hadn’t imagining anyone failing, as lots of people are beginners in astrology I am not expecting the impossible, just instead giving everyone the opportunity for a 1:1 with me talking about their two charts and how they would use them in their practice. In the 1:1 I will give feedback and we will chat about treatment protocols, herbs etc. I have included quite advanced astrology in the course, but I will not expect beginners to use or know this, the information needs to be there for completeness in the course. Overall, the idea is that students get a sense of how to work with the material in practice, so you can be as complex or uncomplicated in your chart analysis as you wish. To repeat- this is not an exam- this is supervision – if you would prefer to write out your charts and their analysis, you could do that and then we talk about what you have written. I added this part to the course as it is easy to study and then not use the material and to give students confidence, as usually we know more than we think we do, but don’t find this out until we are tested in some way-which is why in lessons there are short exercises to do. The supervision group will be open for people who have done part 3 as I said above, there won’t be failures.
What is the monthly humoral supervision group?
In the monthly humoral group each month 2 students will present charts, Decumbiture or Temperament and we will discuss them and look at treatment protocols.

Starting September 2025 a year-long course for practitioners and others to learn astrology to use in clinical practice. The aim of the course is show how Astrology can deepen and enrich your practice as a herbalist or other practitioner and to give you practical skills to use Astrology, both as Temperament and Decumbiture in your practice and then offer optional continuing supervision to build confidence and technique.
I have been using astrology in my practice for over 40 years and have found it invaluable to understand my clients, choose my remedies and adjust my practice from a symptom based to a holistic approach to healing body, mind, spirit and emotions.

To accommodate overseas students we will meet at 08.30 on Sundays.
Classes will last 60-90 minutes and there will be time for questions.
The recordings will be available for 3 months after each lesson and thereafter will form part of a standalone course.
Term 1: We will cover:
Fire planets and signs, herbs, foods, activities, mindsets, emotions associated with them
Earth planets and signs etc.
Air planets and signs etc.
Water planets and signs etc.
Houses and aspects.
The Temperament putting it all together.

This can be done privately 1:1 with me or in a group setting online, written or orally delivered.

Course FAQs
How much study time is involved?
There won’t be much study time, students will be able to buy my book at a discount and then I will ask them to read the relevant chapter in the book. But this is optional.
I like charts for learning and so over the course you will fill in a couple of charts which give a quick reference guide to use what you have learnt.
Optionally, as we go along you can look at people you know and think about how what we studied fits in with what you know about them.
I am a practical person so I will keep theory to the minimum needed to work with astrology.
If you are practicing, it will be helpful to collect birth data from your clients and have that when we work out temperaments and treatment protocols and later decumbiture.
The recording of each class will be available for 3 months, so you can listen to the class again.
The classes are mostly fortnightly as weekly classes can be overwhelming I find.
Your own understanding brings the subject alive.
Can I join if I don’t know anything about herbs?
Yes you can.
What if I can’t make all the classes?
The class will be recorded, and the recording will be available to catch up. Recordings will be available for 3 months. The reason I chose the time is so people in other time zones can join in, but I understand it is not always possible.
How long will the recordings be available for?
The recording will be available for 3 months after the lesson only. Then I plan to make them into an online course which will be sold via Teachable making it more expensive as there are fees to pay there. This will be done at a later date.
Is there a payment plan?
You can pay for the whole term up front or in 2 halves, the second payment is due before the 4th class: October 26th.

Is there support between classes?
