an unsettled time…

This is the chart for London for the Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0’44 Aries. The Moon would have recently passed over the planets and now stands at 9’51 Aries. There is a stellium in the 10th house of government (and Kings), Venus Mercury in Pisces and Saturn Neptune and the Moon in Aries.
The Moon in mundane charts rules the people, and yet here they are in the house of government and rulers. What can this signify? The ruler of the the 10th house is Jupiter in dignity in Cancer but retrograde and hence weakened. This might describe both the UK government (disliked and useless) and the Crown (disliked and greedy). The people, shown by the Moon in Aries are angry, rebellious and looking for a fight.

The Moon is applying to a square of the Jupiter, are the people going to attack the government in some way? Certainly, applying by square, the people are angling to irritate, confront and challenge (Aries) the powers that be. However, even though Jupiter, our ruler, is retrograde, it is still a powerful dignified planet and stronger than the Moon in Aries. This does not appear to be a toppling by the people of the status quo (10th house).
But what do Saturn and Neptune signify? Saturn rules the 7th, 8th and 9th houses. The house of allies, open enemies and partnerships, of debt and death and the law. Neptune co-rules the MC with Jupiter. As we saw last time, Saturn Neptune has the quality of dissolving boundaries, breaking up of hegemonies, popular revolts, religious and other freedoms won.
Certainly, peoples around the world are tired of inequality and injustice, especially as rulers have become more and more repressive against protests, not to mention invasions and illegal military operations. which brings us to other players.

For the USA, the conjunction is in the first house, of identity. The chart ruler, Jupiter is in the 4th house of ancestors, homelands, the father. Jupiter also rules the 10th house of the ruler, (like in the UK) showing a leadership which is weak. Here, the chart speaks more to identity, than the UK chart, which shows ruffling the feathers of the establishment. The US is being asked ‘who are we?’ (1st house). Notice the ruler of the 7th house (open enemies, allies) Mercury, is in the 12th house of secret enemies. Mercury also rules the 4th house of the end of the matter, ancestors and land. This might suggest forces behind the scenes (12th house) working to change the identity of the country (1st house). Saturn rules the 11th and 12th houses. The 11th of community and the 12th of self undoing and isolation. Certainly, the US is isolating itself and ditching long held alliances which is arguably avoidable self harm.

What of Russia? Russia has the Saturn Neptune in the 9th house of law and foreign adventures. With Saturn ruling the 6th, 7th and 8th houses and Neptune ruling the 9th house. You may remember from the previous post, Saturn Neptune for Russia has shown times of turmoil, regime change and revolutions, both violent and peaceful. The chart ruler, the Sun is weak in Pisces in the 8th house of death and debts. It is believed that the Russian economy is struggling due to the expensive war with Ukraine and to date it is estimated that the Russian death toll may be as high as 352,000, an unsustainable number. The people, Moon in the 9th are generally behind the war. The leadership shown by Mars in Aquarius in the 7th, suggests they are working with allies (7th house) or open enemies. Notice Chiron conjunct the MC (2 degrees away) which suggests, like the other two charts (UK and USA) the leadership is damaged, although for the UK and USA Jupiter will turn direct ( March 11th 2026) and become powerful again, while Chiron on the MC for Russia suggests it may be fatally wounded and will not repair (Chiron), history (see previous post) supports this.

Events are moving swiftly this new year. When I started the blog at the beginning of the week, all focus was on Venezuela, now at the end of the week, eyes are on Iran where there are huge demonstrations and an internet blackout.
The Venezuela chart shows the Saturn Neptune moving to conjunct the MC indicating a likely change in government. Saturn rules the 7th of open enemies and Neptune the 9th house of foreigners. This week there has been a push back from US lawmakers blocking further ‘wars’, but as always, the CIA have a way of effecting regime change overtly or covertly. The Moon showing the people in the 10th suggests Venezuelans are also ready for some change, but probably not a foreign backed one.

In the Iran (Persia) chart1, Saturn Neptune are in the 8th house of death, but whose? The ruler of the 8th is Neptune, so something will be dying, hidden or spied upon. Venus, ruler of the 10th is also in the 8th, which does suggest the death of the ruler or regime (the Ayatollah is 86). Again, Saturn rules the 7th of open enemies. Mars, the planet of war, is in the 7th house (as it is in Russia’s chart) suggesting there will be fighting, but whether it will be against an external enemy or an internal one is unclear. But the people, Moon in Aries is ready for a fight, and in the 9th house against the law and religion, which fits as people are tired of the theocracy. Iran is another country run to the ground by old men.
All the Abrahamic religions are ruled by Saturn (Islam, Judaism and Christianity). Arguably, the bloodshed and tyranny of recent years has been fostered by these greybeards who will fight wars and oppress their people to stay in power. Perhaps Saturn Neptune will bring a softening or a dissolving of these patriarchal tyrants.
