The rout of the Right

I had to ask, there was so much resting on these elections and I wondered as many people did, what would happen if Trump or Maga lost seats, as he had previously said he would cancel elections, run for a third term, and other non democratic nonsense.
I was unsure, this was a retrograde Mercury chart, which meant surprises or things later revealed, but I feel the chart is radical and can be ‘cautiously’ judged.
Trump was shown by Jupiter ruling the Ascendant of the question. Jupiter in Leo at 24′ was applying to conjunct his natal Mars at 26’44 Leo, which I felt was a strong showing of radicality. Jupiter in Leo is a bit too big for its boots and this may well describe Trump, who, mistakenly as it turns out, thought he was the wining ticket. It transpired he was the dead hand of the loser instead.
Elections and contests generally are shown by the 10th house, here ruled by Venus, retrograde but strong in her ruling sign Libra. The Moon shows the people, and is strong in Cancer. The Moon is separating from a trine of Mercury in Scorpio, also retrograde, it may be that people polled kept their voting intentions secret (Mercury retrograde in Scorpio) or that voters were moving away from the corruption of the oligarchs (Scorpio rules extreme wealth or Plutocrats).
The Moon, the fastest moving planet is applying to a square of Venus ruling the contest and also the State. The people, the Moon, are moving to the contest and the people, Moon in Cancer, are the strongest significator in this chart. The people flooded to vote, young people especially and those who defied gerrymandering and won their district anyway.
Also, note that Jupiter (Trump) is applying to the South Node, the past, and that means failure. He may have wished to challenge the result, but as it turns out the vote was such a landslide that it was impossible to contest the results. Before meeting the SN though, Jupiter sextiles Venus (as she is moving backwards) and I wondered at first, if this meant the result would be closer than predicted. Interestingly, when the results became clear, by 10.32 on the 4th, Jupiter had made the exact sextile to Venus.
The vote was a landslide. Victories include Talarico astonishingly, winning in Texas, and El-Sayed succeeding in Michigan despite an ugly racist campaign against him. Admiral Nancy Lacore sacked for being a woman won South Carolina against the odds. Firsts were Native American women, many, many Black women, an openly gay man elected to governorship, and the House.
You might say all the people not just some of the people won.
Moon in Cancer is family, not tyrants. It turned out that the power of the Moon was stronger than either Venus or Jupiter. The Republicans lost both House and Senate resoundingly.
But what of the future? How will Trump behave between now and the swearing in in January? He has conceded and said he will work with the democrats, but who can trust him?

Mars is heading for his natal Mars and they will meet on the 18th of November, and it will pass over his Ascendant on November 25th. In his natal chart, Mars rules his 4th house of endings and his 9th house. Mars goes retrograde on January 11th 2027 and return to his Ascendant on February 22nd and Mars on 5th March 2027.
Jupiter will hit his natal Mars on November 18th and then goes retrograde and hits again on December 27th. So, as his Mars rules endings perhaps he will retreat from public life entirely, we can but hope. Certainly, the Jupiter Mars conjunction on the 18th is one to watch…It may be his anger spills out into more violence, he has threatened to continue his assault on Iran, but one thing we can rely on is his own self interest will be paramount in any moves he makes.
